I’ve been on every “diet” there is and I’d lose weight but always gain it back plus more. I had never learned how to eat healthy and exercise. Kyle had tried to get me to work out for years but I just didn’t think I could. Because of all the extra weight, my knees hurt all the time, I had no energy and I had problems with my feet and back.

Since starting I’ve lost 57 lbs. and am healthier and stronger than I’ve ever been. I did personal training with Kyle for 3 mths, he had doubts that I would ever be able to do Boot Camp but I started that June and have been doing it ever since.

All of my aches and pains are gone, I have tons of energy and I tons of confidence in myself! I went from wearing 16 and 18’s to wearing 8 and 10’s. I can’t remember ever wearing a 8. So if your thinking you can’t do it, please think of me. If I can do it, believe me, anybody can do it.

I came to Maximum Fitness kicking and screaming. I had recently lost a significant amount of weight by doing a lot of cardio. Kasey and Kelly reached out to me and offered me a free week… I wasn’t sure what to expect and was nervous as I still had weight I wanted to lose. I wasn’t happy with my body and was not excited about participating in a program I wasn’t familiar with. I was assured that there would be many different people in different stages and that it was a judgment free zone. Everyone works at their own pace. While I was skeptical I still decided to go 1 time. Expecting to hate the class, environment and workouts my plan was to go once and say “I did it” Well, it only took 1 class and I was hooked. Up until the time I joined Maximum Fitness I relied on the scale to determine if I was healthy or not. Through different programs and one on one coaching Kelly and the other coaches explained how the scale isn’t the main thing to focus on. For the first time in my life I was actually measured, and weighed properly, and we discussed healthy eating. After working out and pushing myself for 7 months at Maximum Fitness I am at my lowest weight since middle school. I am more confident, happy and motivated than ever! I appreciate all the support I have received from everyone at Max Fit. I urge you to give Kelly and the other coaches 1 week. You will love the workouts, the people and the motivation you receive. From Facebook messages just “checking in” to coaches taking the time to get to know you, Maximum Fitness is a great community of people to be a part of. Workouts are truly at your own pace. Everyone is different and they do have alternates for each workout. I am thankful for the first visit and how they made me feel. When I started my journey I was 410lbs. I was unhappy, sad and lazy. Today I am ½ that person. I am strong, happy, motivated and confident. If I can do this, I know you can. I would love the chance to meet you and discuss my journey and have you join us for a week “on the house” We offer many different classes throughout the day. I am so thankful for the friendships I have made and look forward to what my future holds at Max Fit!

Just want to take a moment to share my fitness journey. Back in March I decided It was time to make a healthy change in my life. I joined Maximum Fitness/Black Label CrossFIt. The first couple of classes I thought to myself there is no way I’m going to be able to make it through this. But with the help of my husband and family who also attend the gym I was able to become consistent. The coaches at this gym have been a huge motivation to me to keep pushing. The men and women who attend these classes have become familiar faces to me and have been a great inspiration and great motivators to keep me pushing for the top. I changed my diet with the help of the nutrition classes and re-learning how to eat the right foods. as I’m sure many of you have seen my before and after pictures my battle to keep climbing will never stop. It has become a nightly routine for my husband and I to go to maximum fitness and for me to try to continue to get stronger. Believe me my squats are awful but I know with lots of practice and Brandon teaching me how to. Allow my knees to bend over my toes I will eventually get it. The changes I see in myself mentally and physically on a daily basis would not have been met if I hadn’t started attending maximum fitness. For this I will forever remind grateful for my new self and all my new friends.
